We are from out of state. We are here for a college graduation. Our waitress was so attentive, considering they close at 9 and we got there at 820. Service was awesome, drinks were perfect and the food was flawlessly delicious. Definitely recommend. I forgot the servers name I'm sure she knows who she is.
What an amazing little place! We stopped in for lunch and very glad we did. We ordered the pimento cheese appetizer which was incredible and I highly recommend!! I had the crab cake sandwich with avocado. Only feedback is the croissant was way bigger than the crab cake. Overall tho, amazing! Lots of crab and not a lot of filling. Would definitely order again. My girlfriend had the daily special which was a smoked turkey grilled cheese with bacon. It was delicious! Fun place and highly recommend!!
We had a really nice brunch here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ended up splitting steak and eggs and it was huge. We pretty well devoured that and then got some blueberry cheesecake for dessert which was awesome. We will definitely go back.
Absolutely stunning. Seated in the back, the ambiance was beautiful. We had a pimento cheese plate to start, followed by the infamous Crab cake and Avo sandwich. The service was nice and warm. We had their Arnie Palmers (unsweetened) and they were exactly what we needed to beat the heat. Highly recommended.
This is one of my favorite places to eat for date night with my husband - which is why I also chose it for my 42nd birthday. I’m a sucker for their risotto! :) The front and back rooms have two different ambiances. I prefer the back room personally.
Food was so amazing. We had the Seabass and it was so tasty and beautifully prepared. We didn’t need to order any sides and a little salad on top and had a risotto kind of rice underneath it. Highly recommend this place.
This was an awesome place to eat! I loved the different portraits of Van Gogh. The food here was very good too. The chips were warm and fresh and the Pepper Jack Chicken tasted great. Our server came around to refill our drinks often and she was very polite.
We are visiting from New Zealand and we loved Amsterdam cafe, the staff are lovely and welcoming. We sat outside in the courtyard which had fairy lights on the tree, very romantic. The food was delicious. We asked about the grits and they gave us some to try, they were delicious. The wine and beer selection was great. Cameron was our waiter and the service was excellent and he was good to talk to. Highly recomend this restaurant to dine at.
Baka chicken enchilada soup was delicious (again). Tried the pimento cheese appetizer as an entree very good.
After a day touring Auburn, our campus guide recommended Amsterdam Cafe for a quick lunch before we headed out of town—and I am so grateful they did! The entire meal was exceptional. My husband’s chicken tortilla soup was hearty and full of flavor, my son’s lobster mac and cheese was absolutely outstanding, and my Amsterdam burger was easily the juiciest, best hamburger I’ve had in a while. The house-made sweet potato chips were a fun, delicious surprise, especially paired with the honey mustard sauce. The atmosphere feels like a refined yet casual bar, complete with an impressive wine collection tucked away in the back. To top it off, our server was excellent and provided quick, attentive service. We will definitely make this a mandatory stop whenever we are back in town!
